- Eligibility
The Simple Video Pro Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”)is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry, and who reside in jurisdictions permitting these Rules. Employees of Red Zebra Media, Inc., affiliated entities and their advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate families, are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations. If a provision of these Rules conflicts with any applicable law or regulation, the provision(s) of said law or regulation shall control. The Sweepstakes is void where not legal or prohibited by law.
- Parties
Sponsor: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Red Zebra Media, Inc., (“Sponsor”) located at 8139 Sunset Avenue # 127, Fair Oaks, California 95628.
Entrant: A natural person who is eligible to enter the Sweepstakes pursuant to ¶ 1 above, who submits a Sweepstakes entry via one of the methods described in ¶ 5 below (“Entrant”).
- Agreement to Official Rules
Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling the requirements set forth herein.
- Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins on February 24, 2015 at 9:00am EST and ends on March 2, 2015 at 11:59 PM EST (the Sweepstakes Period). Entries that are submitted before or after the Sweepstakes Period will be disqualified. Submissions will be accepted for the duration of the Sweepstakes using any of the following methods:

All methods of entry are free. Entrant is free to choose whichever method is more convenient. No purchase is necessary to win. Regardless of the method of entry, there is a limit of one (1) entry per person, per postal or email address, and per household for the duration of the Sweepstakes Period. Entries received from any person, e-mail address, or householdin excess of the stated limitation will be void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
If you wish to unsubscribe from any email list you previously subscribed to with Sponsor, you may do so at any time by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of any email communication.

- Winner Notification; Authorization to Publish
Each potential winner will be notified by email, mail or phone. In the event a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Any prize not awarded to an initial or alternate winner will remain un-awarded. Prize awards will be fulfilled within 8-10 weeks after the conclusion of the Sweepstakes Period.
Entrant permits and authorizes Sponsor to publish, in whatever form and on or by
whatever medium, the following information:
Entrant’s name and generic geographic location (state) on a list of winners;
The prize awarded to each winner including Entrant;
Any photo(s) or video submitted by the Entrant, including images showing his or her likeness.
Sweepstakes results and the above items become the sole property of the Sponsor.
- Sweepstakes Prizes
One (1) First Prize: A valid, fully fledged working Personal license and downloadable copy of Camtasia Studio 8 software valued at $299.00; or, if the First Prize winner prefers, a valid, fully fledged working Personal license and downloadable copy of Camtasia:Mac valued at $99.00.
- General Conditions
- Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or the Website; to be in violation of the User Agreement of the Website; to be acting in violation of these Official Rules; to be acting in a unethical or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
B. Any use of cartel, robotic, automatic, macro, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods and persons using any such methods will be disqualified.
C. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as planned due to circumstances beyond the control of the Sponsor including, without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. D. In the event any of the above General Condition items A-C occur, and said occurrence violates any applicable regulation or civil or criminal law, Sponsor reserves the right to cooperate with investigators and/or pursue any and all legal remedies available, against those believed to be responsible.
- Release and Waiver of Sponsor and Social Media Sites; Force Majeure
By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, other companies associated with the Sweepstakes, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize awarded, including, but not limited to: (a) any technical errors associated with the Sweepstakes, including lost, interrupted or unavailable Internet service or misdirected transmission of data or mail (including postal mail mis-addressed by Entrant or mis-delivered by postal carrier(s)); and/or (b)any other errors or problems beyond the control of the Sponsor, including, without limitation, errors that may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes, the announcement of the winner, and/or the cancellation or postponement of the Sweepstakes or in any Sweepstakes-related materials; and/or (c)injury, death, losses or damages of any kind, to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, receipt or misuse of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto).
The provisions of the foregoing paragraph shall include and extend to social media networking sites, including, without limitation, Facebook, through which Entrant may submit a Sweepstakes entry. SPONSOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PROBLEMS OR TECHNICAL MALFUNCTION OF ANY TELEPHONE NETWORK OR TELEPHONE LINES, COMPUTER ON-LINE SYSTEMS, SERVERS, COMPUTER EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE, FAILURE OF ANY E-MAIL OR ENTRY TO BE RECEIVED BY SPONSOR ON ACCOUNT OF TECHNICAL PROBLEMS, HUMAN ERROR OR TRAFFIC CONGESTION ON THE INTERNET OR AT ANY WEBSITE, OR ANY COMBINATION THEREOF.
B. SPONSOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCORRECT OR INACCURATE CAPTURE OF INFORMATION OR THE FAILURE TO CAPTURE SUCH INFORMATION, WHETHER CAUSED BY WEBSITE USERS, TAMPERING OR HACKING, OR BY ANY OF THE EQUIPMENT OR PROGRAMMING ASSOCIATED WITH OR UTILIZED IN THE CONTEST. 12. Disputes
Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any dispute pertaining to the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules shall be decided by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, and such decision by Sponsor shall be final. In all other cases, the laws of the State of California shall apply and venue shall lie in the County of Sacramento, California.
